Founded in 2005, Kip Amundrud (Founder & CEO) saw a desperate need for innovation in the industry of Crawlspace Encapsulation, which at the time was still in its infancy. So like any good entrepreneur, Kip started a business with the mission to fill the void. After nearly a decade of success, serving the Western North Carolina area, in 2015 Kip’s son Brent partnered with his father bringing with him a clear vision of improving the company using data driven approaches to Mold & Moisture Remediation, innovating the Crawlspace Encapsulation process with zero permeance vapor barriers, smart monitoring systems and increased energy efficiency. Brent officially became CEO in 2020. Today, A Healthy Home is a leader and innovator in the field of Crawlspace Encapsulation & Mold Remediation.
